Start of work on fourth Prague Metro line put back

The expected launch date for the construction of a fourth, “D” line for Prague’s Metro system has been put back by three years. Work should now begin on the new underground rail line in 2020, deputy mayor Petr Dolínek told the Czech News Agency on Tuesday. The process is being held up over problems with buying property along the planned route of the line, which is due to run from Náměstí Míru to the suburb of Písnice.
