Foreign Minister Zaorálek attends Global Coalition to Counter ISIL meeting

Czech Foreign Minister, Lubomír Zaorálek, who is on a four-day working visit to the United States, on Wednesday attended a meeting of the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL (Islamic State) in Washington. Mr Zaorálek told Czech Radio that the aim of the meeting was to seek ways to improve the humanitarian situation in Iraq. Mr Zaorálek has also been received at the United Nations in New York by its general secretary, Ban Ki-moon, and gave a speech at the UN’s Economic and Social Council, in which he presented the Czech Republic’s plan for sustainable development.
